結論
著者는 서울시에 재학중인 국민학교 1학년, 5학년, 중학교 3학년 아동 400명을 대상으로
明嚼器官系의 機能的 運動記錄과 부정교합과의 연관성에 대하여 조사하고, 다음과 같은 結
論을 얻었다.
1. 5세時의 sucking habits는 frontal open bite와 상관관계가 있었으며, 前齒部의 反對咬合
과도 상관관계가 있었다.
2. 調査 當時 sucking habits가 있는 아동들 역시 frontal open bite와 상관관계가 있는 것
으로 나타났다.
3. Bruxism은 齒牙 咬耗度와 약간의 상관관계가 있었다.
4. 永久前齒의 反對咬合과 前齒部 咬耗와는 陰의 상관관계가 있었다.

Four hundred children aged 6, 10 and 14 years answered a questionnaire and were
clinically examined. The author examined variables that describe the functional state of
the masticatory system, such as chewing habits, dental wear, and mandibular mobility.
The study also aimed to describe sucking habits, bruxism, the dental status, and the
type of occlusion and to analyse some correlations between the different variables.
The following results were obtained.
1. A positive correlation was found between reported sucking habits at 5 years of age
and frontal open bite and frontal crossbite.
2. A positive correlation was found between sucking habits and frontal open bite.
3. There was a positive correlation between dental wear and bruxism.
4. There was a negative correlation between dental wear of incisors and crossbite of
incisors.
